Solar Coil, LLC is a manufacturer of Solar Coil brand solar water heater units. The owner needed a site that was clean and professional looking, and fit in with the “green” movement look-and-feel.

Requirements:

• Custom warranty registration web form
• Custom refer-a-friend web form
• Content management so owner can add news items
• Content management so owner can add distributors

Solutions:

Using a CodeIgniter PHP framework implementation, I built the site and then added the custom warranty registration tool. Purchasers of Solar Coils can register their product warranty online. The web tool emails them a copy of the warranty information so they can print it for their records, and then emails the owner and saves to a database.
