Bio

I have been obsessed with computers since the Commodore Pet days, circa 1978. I began programming dBase IV applications in 1988 and learned everything there is to know about PCs, DOS, Windows, etc. I did private, home PC work and repair during this time period. In 1995 I began working on computer networks. I was a certified Novell NetWare Engineer and worked as a Network Administrator from 1997 to 2000 for a Fortune 500 Health Insurance Company. In 2000 I switched to programming and data analysis, still working for the same company.

In 2006 I got my MBA with the aspirations of moving into executive management for a large company. However, after much soul-searching, I decided I really loved programming more than anything else. Since then, I have devoted myself to my craft.
